Kevin O`Shann Pritchett

May 4, 1981 — November 3, 2017

Kevin D`Shann Pritchett, Sr., was born on May 4, 1981 in Nashville, TN.

Second son to Linda D. Pritchett and Julius James Pritchett, Sr. He departed this earthly life on November 3, 2017.

Kevin was educated in the Davidson County Metro Public School System and last attended Pearl Cohn High School. He loved music and was a fun loving, generous young man. Above all he was a loving father, who was devoted to his children. He loved his family and very often you would catch him teasing his nieces and nephew unmercilously. On any given day you could find Kevin walking his children to the bus stop and to school daily, always smiling and not complaining.

Kevin was affectionately called “Kirby” by his close friends and family. He had a passion for cooking and one of his favorites was fried potatoes and onions. He was a loving gentle giant. Gone but not forgotten.

Kevin professed his hope in Christ at a young age at the Mount Hopewell M. B. Church in Donelson, TN., under the Pastorate of Dr. Theodore H. Bryson, Sr.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ben Smith; father, Julius J. Pritchett, Sr; brother, Marcus Gilbert; uncle, Ben W. Smith; cousins, Wendell and Tameika Lowe.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memories; his loving mother, Linda D. Pritchett; children, Kaijuan, Kevin D. Pritchett, Jr., and Courtneyonna; dear friend and companion, Kimberly Dalton; brothers, Kenneth (Michelle) Pritchett, Shewan Pritchett and Keith (Tiffany) Pritchett; grandmother, Irene Smith; great aunt, Lillie Harber of Buffalo, NY; aunts, Patricia Lowe and Debbie (John) Fields; God father, Edward Watkins; God brother, Robert Jackson; a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.
