Major Vincent Ray Mitchell

Major Vincent Ray Mitchell, age 75, transitioned from his earthly life to eternal life on Saturday, May 11, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, Helen and James Mitchell and siblings, Vickie Mitchell-Donelson & Wilbert (Ghi) Mitchell. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted daughter, Dr. Joi A. Mitchell and granddaughter, Miss Ivy L. Weaver, two sisters: Dr. Janet Finch, Ms. Adrienne Quinn (Atlanta, Ga), two brothers: Mr. Gregory Mitchell, Dr. Ardis Mitchell (Dr. Sana Rafiq).  Vincent also leaves a host of nieces and nephews, uncles: Mr. Clifton Mitchell and Mr. Richard Mitchell, extended family: Carole (George) Claybrooks, Larry Batey, Gerald Batey, Eleanor Nevels, and Andre Mitchell and a long-time devoted friend, Ms. Mary Keeton,
