Mamie Lee Craig, age 79 transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She leaves a host of devoted family members and friends to cherish her memories.

Mamie L. Craig was born July 16, 1941 to the late Florence Horton of Huntsville, Alabama. She was the first of four siblings, John Ross, devoted sister, Linda Ross, Michael Davis (Nena) and Eleanor Ross Hayes.

Mamie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Owens.

Mamie attended the Metro public schools and graduated from Pearl High School.

She married Alfred T. Craig and had six children.

All who knew her will miss her warmth, compassion and creativeness. Mamie leaves to cherish her memories her daughters Vicky Nelson (Scott), Tia Craig and Marquetta Craig. Her sons Andrew J. Drew, Alfred Craig Ill and Lee Craig. She has 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She also has nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she loved dearly.
