Njagi Wayne Turpin

November 2, 1982 — January 10, 2021

Njagi Wayne Turpin passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11, 2021 in Hermitage, Tennessee. He was born to Vincent Wayne Turpin (deceased) and Sandra Dee Golden on November 2, 1982 in Hollywood. Florida.

He graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Becoming a father was Njagi’s biggest accomplishment in life as his children meant the world to him.

He was always the life of the party with his big beautiful smile and warm embraces. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, watching sports, and was known for lively discussions on politics and conspiracy theories. His laughter, sense of humor, friendship, openness, and loving spirit will be missed by all.

Njagi was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, and nephew.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Dee Golden-Woods, step-father Kerrin Woods, children: Unity and Umari Turpin, sisters: April Bell and Nakia Jones, brothers: Vincent Turpin and Isreal Derby, mother of his children Chari Edmondson, grandparents: Elder Perry Richardson and Dr. Lucille Richardson, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father Vincent Wayne Turpin.

Although Njagi is no longer with us, his spirit remains in our hearts forever. So let us not be sad for him and celebrate his life. For he is with the Lord and no longer in suffering.
