Ruth Jean Johnson Haston transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Sunday, November 3, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 2021. Jean is survived by her devoted daughter, Andrea (Rodney) Jones; her loving granddaughter, Brittany (Vernon II) Williams; her great-granddaughter, Zyla; and her great-grandson, Vernon III. She is also survived by her dedicated niece, Gloria C. Johnson, devoted friend, Joe Ransom as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Additionally, she leaves behind several devoted long-term friends and sorority sisters.
