Wanda "Faye" Alexander was born December 7, 1958 to the union of Gladys Alexander and Walton Alexander in Nashville, Tennessee. The second child birthed to this union. She departed this life on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Faye (as she loved being referred too) was loving Creative, artistic, and gifted with her hands when it came to baking, cooking, and sewing She was preceded in death by her father Walton Alexander Faye was educated in the Nashville Davidson County School System. Faye was employed the majority of her life until her retirement in 2019 from AT&T. She loved music, cooking, baking, board games, love to have fun (cook-outs) and loved her family and friends. Faye was a devoted mother to Jontae and Jazmin. She never stopped helping them in any way she could. There was nothing she would not do to help anyone. Faye was always the life of any gathering whether it was a birthday or holiday. She loved checking on her siblings and friends and would spend hours holding conversations about everything from life to cooking. (she like to ask "what are you Cooking for dinner? especially on Sundays) Faye leaves to cherish and celebrate her memory, her loving mother Gladys Alexander, devoted children Jontae Hereford, Jazmin (Terry) Hereford; grandchildren Alexis Davis, Layla Watson, and Terry Watson Jr., sister Debra Alexander, brother Derek Alexander, sisters Linda Hudson and Karen Alexander. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; lifelong devoted friend Brenda Jackson and numerous other loving relatives and faithful friends.
